Serbia: Protest of transporters from 4 countries due to the rule 90 days in 180 days

Notification received from Serbian Association of International Road Hauliers "Medjunarodni Transport" :

"On 26th January 2026 from 12.00h transporters from Western Balkan will start protest on all cross borders of Serbia, all crosborders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, all cross borders and terminals of Montenegro and all cross borders of North Macedonia. Neither entrance or exit will be possible with good vehicles (transit included). So, please inform your transporters for this. Protests will be organized by:

• Serbian carriers,
• Bosnian Carriers,
• Montenegro Carriers,
• North Macedonian Carriers.

Vehicles that only transport:

• medicaments,
• live animals,
• ammunition and explosives,

they will be allowed to pass the convoy of vehicles at the protest. For everything else, it is necessary to avoid loading, because passage will not be allowed.

With wish that this will not be long protests, and wish for professional approach of EC authorities for carriers and drivers, we remind at your disposal."
