OFAE at the 10th Supply Chain and Logistics Expo 2025
The Hellenic Federation of Road Transport (OFAE) participated with great success in the 10th International “Supply Chain & Logistics 2025” Exhibition, through a joint and well-coordinated presence of six national professional associations, marking a new model of cooperation and collective representation for the industry.
OFAE in cooperation with five more national associations in logistics PEED, EEL, EEBΨ&L, EESYM, and ILME, with a group exhibition booth and the co-organization of a conference session within the framework of LOGI.C 2025, highlighted the importance of collaboration across all links of the supply chain — from transport to logistics, technology, and sustainable mobility systems.
The conference session, titled “Industry Stakeholders Discuss the Future of the Supply Chain”, attracted strong interest from institutional representatives, business leaders, and organizations.
In addition to the representatives of the six associations, the event was honored by the participation of Mr. Erman Ereke, Representative of the International Road Transport Union (IRU), and Mr. Benny Smets, President of the Belgian Transport Association FEBETRA and CEO of NINATRANS, who emphasized the need for European coordination in transport and logistics policy.
Also participating in the discussion was Mr. Athanasios Ziliaskopoulos, President of the National Supply Chain Council, who stressed the importance of public–private cooperation to strengthen competitiveness and to establish a unified national strategy for logistics in Greece.
An honorary message was delivered by Ms. Eliza Vozemberg, Chair of the Committee on Transport and Tourism (TRAN) of the European Parliament, who underlined the importance of the transport sector for the growth of the European economy and praised the joint organization of the six national bodies as a model of collective representation and collaboration.
During the event, the six associations signed a Joint Declaration to design a national strategy for the development of the Supply Chain, committing to continue their cooperation to enhance dialogue, develop joint initiatives, and promote policies that support a sustainable and competitive logistics ecosystem in Greece.
A particularly meaningful moment of the event was the tribute ceremony in memory of Michalis Adamantiadis, founder and long-time President of EESYM, for his invaluable and lasting contribution to the sector. The associations and participants honored his legacy, which continues to inspire the transport and logistics community in Greece and across Europe.
On behalf of all co-organizers, OFAE warmly thanks the organizing company O.MIND CREATIVES / FORUM SA for its excellent organization and support, as well as all participants who contributed to the success of this year’s event.
This collective presence demonstrated that through synergies, shared vision, and coordinated action, the road transport and logistics sector can gain a stronger voice and play a decisive role in shaping the policies of the future.
