Panhellenic Seamen’s Federation – 24-hour nationwide strike on Thursday, March 5 2026

At its extraordinary session today, the Executive Committee of Panhellenic Seamen’s Federation decided to declare a 24-hour nationwide strike for all categories of ships on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 00:01 to 24:00.

The Administration of Panhellenic Seamen’s Federation regards the situation in the Middle East, where a war is currently ongoing, as extremely serious and dangerous for the hundreds of Greek and foreign seafarers who remain trapped in the region.

PNO has made it clear that no ship will depart from Greece to the Middle East under these circumstances.
