The Federation | Welcoming message

Dear colleagues and fellow road transport operators,

Transport is the centre of the world! It is the glue of our daily lives. When it goes well, we don’t see it. When it goes wrong, it negatively colours our day, makes us feel angry and impotent, curtails our possibilities.

OFAE represents all road transport operators in Greece, and it is always by your side, ready to offer the help and information you need. We believe that this website will be a bridge of communication, and we aspire to come into contact with as many colleagues as possible, provide you with information on crucial matters and help you deal with the problems encountered daily. Among other things, the website shall provide useful information on the Federation’s activities both nationally and internationally.

It is a common estimate that we are faced with the greatest international and national financial crisis of the past decades, which mostly affects the transport industry. Therefore, it is imperative that we join and coordinate our forces, in order to contribute to the recovery of the Greek economy, the reversal of the recession and productive reconstruction.

Greek road transport operators have both the experience and knowledge required to meet these challenges. Their association, the Hellenic Federation of Road Transports (OFAE) is present in this effort, and it is ready to contribute its know-how, infrastructure and forces. Today, more than ever, there is a need for maintaining a state of alert and keep on fighting.

With these in mind, we are ready to meet up to your requirements.
